Stiil undecided for my twin girls....HELP?

I see your pretty stuck on the first name being Madeline Elise, and I agree, it's a great name. There are many possible nicknames and it isn't a huge mouthful. Personally, when choosing names for kids, I believe that the middle name should be something that means something important to the parents, but that the first name should be something that the child will like. Since your picking names for twins, you'd probably want to pick names that set the two apart so that they won't always be thought of as the same and so that they can be their own individuals. Another thing to take into account is if it may be something other kids will tease your child about or if it will trouble them in life. My younger brother, for instance, HATES his name. He has a unisex name (Carrie) and he constantly complains about being teased at school because of it, though he does see my parents reasoning for calling him that, because it was in memory of a close family friend. Over-all though, it's up to you as the parent. Also, ask your partner what they want their children to be named.
