World of warcraft burning crusade code missing?

i just bought burning crusade espansion for world of warcraft, when i went to open the box i noticed it was already opened and my authentication code was missing. i bought the game at wal mart and wanted to know if they would give me a refund for the missing code. i spent about 10 dollars on the game and i will be very pissed if they dont get me a new game
