Would it be considered scapegoating to point a finger at homosexuals and not other "sins"?

I suppose, but I see it a worse than scapegoating. It's Pharisaical. Hypocrisy. And Jesus exposed those in his time about being "well already". We have the same now in these times . . . some Christians seem to act like they are immune to the Pharisaical leaven.
